CHICON MOUNTAIN TREK 3 DAYS /2 NIGHTS

This is the most diverse trek in Cusco because during the trip will appreciate the prettiest landscapes of the Sacred Valley, you can also see the sacred mountains of the Quechua, who still maintain their customs and traditions.

DAY 1: CUSCO – HUAYOCCARI – YANACOCHA

He would gather at 7:30 from your hotel, this day will visit the beautiful scenery of the Sacred Valley trek, also enter the market of Pisac to enjoy the typical bread ovens, and from there we head to the town of URCO, where you will visit agricultural terraces and temples of worship of water, after lunch visit Huayoccari in the Sacred Valley. Here we find the horses and began our hike up the hill towards Yanacocha, takes about 3 hours. During the walk we see hummingbirds, ducks, coots, eagles, condors, falcons, also walks through its typical Polylepis forest, which are the highest forests of the world. We arrived at the Yanacocha lagoon and spend the night in tents in the vicinity thereof.

DAY 2: YANACOCHA – YUCAY – OLLANTAYTAMBO

After breakfast we walked about 45 minutes to a viewpoint from which we can enjoy the view of the Sacred Valley trek. Also the snow mountains of chicon, pitusiray, sawasiray, veronica, ausangate. After a short break we will descend to the village of Yucay. On the way we can see the valley of Urubamba. Near noon lunch in the town of San Juan, and thereafter the town of YUCAY low. Our bus awaits us and take us to Ollantaytambo ancient Inca city that still maintains its streets, squares and temples, which in 500 years has not changed, in the evening board the train at 19:00 pm, arriving in hot water after a hour, beyond sleeping in a hotel.

DAY 3: AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO

After breakfast in the morning, go up to Machupicchu by bus at 6:30 am, where you will have a guided 2 hours with the tour guide, and then you can explore Machu Picchu on your own, and to return walking to town of hot water.

In the afternoon after visiting Machu Picchu by train back to Ollantaytambo, then by bus to Cusco.
